Public Sector
Online services that every citizen can use,
for ministries, departments and agencies
Ministries, departments and agencies are moving services online while working within public procurement rules, local-language and accessibility requirements and personal-data protection law. InterCloud has delivered systems for the public sector since 2013 and builds platforms that serve officials and citizens equally well.
Challenges
Challenges in the Public Sector
Procurement rules and project governance
Public procurement follows formal terms of reference, evaluation and acceptance processes. Projects require clear deliverables, documentation and handover so that the agency can operate and audit the system long after go-live.
Local-language and accessibility requirements
Systems must operate fully in the official language, including official document formats, calendar conventions such as Buddhist-era dates and correct sorting, and must remain usable by every citizen regardless of device or ability.
Personal data and data governance
Agencies hold large volumes of personal data. Personal-data protection law such as the PDPA, data-classification and digital-government standards govern how information is collected, stored, shared between agencies and retained.
Citizen services at high volume
Online services must absorb peaks around deadlines and announcements, integrate with national identity and payment systems, and remain available with a limited in-house IT team.

Our Approach
Systems the Agency Can Operate and Audit After Handover
We design in the official language first. Official document formats, calendar conventions such as Buddhist-era dates, local-language search and sorting, and forms that follow the agency's existing paperwork are handled within the platform from the start of the project.
Data governance follows personal-data protection law such as the PDPA and digital-government guidance: role-based access, consent and purpose records, logging of every access to personal data, and retention rules agreed with the agency's data protection officer.
Projects are delivered with the documentation, training and source handover that public procurement requires, and hosted with monitoring so that a small IT team has support when traffic peaks.
- Local-language forms, documents and calendar conventions such as Buddhist-era dates
- Access control, logging and retention aligned with data-protection law
- Deliverables and documentation aligned with procurement terms of reference
- Monitoring and alerting shared between the agency and InterCloud

Frequently Asked Questions
Does InterCloud have experience with public-sector procurement?
Yes. We have delivered systems for ministries, departments and public bodies since 2013 and are accustomed to working within terms of reference, formal acceptance and documentation requirements.
Can systems be hosted on government infrastructure?
Hosting is agreed per project. Our products are containerized and run on AWS by default. Where policy requires government cloud or on-premises hosting, we'll discuss the options and what each means for operations and monitoring.
Which languages do your systems support?
GlowScale and Orbio support multiple languages, including Thai and English. For agencies that work in Thai, Thai-language interfaces, Thai fonts, Buddhist-era dates, Thai sorting and official document formats are supported.
